It had been a couple days since Marisol had come to visit Carter. Luckily she never saw the giant monstrosity on her lower back, but unfortunately it was still there, as big and black as ever. It didn't hurt as badly as it use to, and it was actually healing up, but it was an ugly yellowy-green color, and she wished it would just go away.
Carter had just gotten out of the shower, and was getting dressed, but she was staring at her back in front of the mirror, wishing she could go back in time and stop herself from making Caleb so angry at her. Next time they'd hang out, she promised herself that she wouldn't make him upset this time.
