NICKNAME's past: Corinne was born Jameson Andrew Day to two loving parents. Assigned male at birth, Corinne had a normal childhood as the middle of three siblings (an older sister and younger brother.) As she got older she began to feel more and more uncomfortable with her body, and eventually transitioned to female when she was a teenager. This put a bit of a strain on her relationship with her family, but more recently they’ve been beginning to grow close again.
Corinne has had a bad habit of looking for love in all the wrong places. She’s had quite a few boyfriends and girlfriends and unrequited crushes, but none of them have really worked out and the relationships always tended to end badly for one reason or another.
NICKNAME's present: Corinne is a teacher at Redfern Academy. Specifically, she teaches the older grades. She loves her job, and especially loves serving as a mentor for students, who often come to her for advice on everything from homework to friend group drama to problems at home. While she does love helping people, a small part of her does enjoy the gossip as well.
Despite being young, Corinne occasionally has an irrational fear of being alone forever and never finding her true love. She feels like she’s growing a bit desperate as all her friends seem to be getting married left and right.
Corinne’s family has recently been reaching out to her, especially her siblings. Her brother is a student at the academy, but as it’s generally frowned upon for teachers to teach family members, he’s not in her class.
When she’s not at work or with friends and family, Corinne loves to spend her time at the beach and out on the water.
