TAMAR's appearance: Black hair, dark brown eyes, about 5'8.
TAMAR's past: Tamar was raised in an Amelian orphanage, which stunted her social development somewhat. At the age of twelve she was adopted by her preceding Dian overloridian, Thema. Thema wanted to ensure that Tamar would have a head-start on learning how to perform her duties as overloridian. Although they shared more of a mentor-student relationship than a parent-child one, they were nonetheless very close despite both knowing that Tamar settling would mean Thema's death. Tamar kept up a brave face in public when Thema died, but grieved in private.
Tamar settled a bit older than most at the age of nineteen.
TAMAR's present: Tamar is a competent and skilled leader, but lacks the charisma to really be popular among the Dian people. In trying to be confident and strong she comes off as arrogant. Many people tend to think she’s antisocial and introverted, when in reality she just has a hard time making friends due to a chronic case of foot-in-mouth syndrome and a bit of a superiority complex. She does care deeply for Dian, even if she has a hard time showing it.
Tamar is passionate about her job and doesn’t let any setbacks keep her down. She can bounce back from anything. She can take peoples’ negative opinions about her in stride as long as she feels she’s doing what’s best for Dian.
In her spare time, Tamar likes to train with various metal weaponry so that she can be a capable defender of her people. Though skilled with a variety of weapons, her favorite is a meteor hammer.
