Remy didn't agree. Stable he may be, but Hadley had lost more than his eyesight during his stay at the hospital. For example, when Remy had told Hadley that he was looking better (something she only did because he actually looked horrible), he didn't bother responding or making some comment to put Remy on edge. After their first day at the hospital, where Hadley had actually managed to crack a few jokes and pick on her, he had become this sullen lump that only looked like her old best friend. Something had happened, but he refused to tell her what. Except it wasn't even a real refusal. It was a type of disinterest that made Remy worry about his sanity.
Still, here she was, wheeling Hadley into the estate built into the side of the volcano.
"We're home!" she said with more enthusiasm than she actually felt.
